Make your own Christmas name cards

Choose Traditional Winter Holly for evergreen leaves and red berries, or Festive Pine & Ribbon for green and gold. Classic and minimal designs are also available. Use notes for meal choices or short messages such as Clara: Santa's Helper.

Print, cut and fold your place cards

Choose US Letter or A4 to match your paper. Print the PDF at 100% or Actual size. Cut along the corner marks with scissors or a paper trimmer. For tent cards, lightly score the dashed center line with a ruler and a blunt scoring tool, then fold and press the crease.

Tent cards measure about 3.89 inches wide by 1.53 inches high when folded. Flat cards measure 3.5 by 2 inches. A guest list of 12 uses four tent-card sheets or two flat-card sheets.

Paper and table-setting tips

Use cardstock that your printer supports, and check its paper-weight limit before feeding a sheet. Try the manual feed tray if your printer recommends it. Print a test on ordinary paper first.

White cardstock keeps holly greens and berry reds clear. Stand a tent card above the plate, or put a flat card in a pinecone holder or a folded napkin.

How many place cards fit on a sheet?

Tent cards print three per sheet. Flat cards print eight per sheet on either US Letter or A4 paper.

Can I reuse my guest list next Christmas?

Keep a copy in a text document or spreadsheet. Paste it into the tool when you need new cards; the site does not store your list.
